---Could you tell me about your current job responsibilities in your department?

My main responsibility is purchasing parts and materials necessary for production. My role is to secure "what is needed, when it is needed, and at a fair price" by coordinating with other departments within the company.

 

―――When do you feel that your work is difficult or rewarding?

The most challenging aspects are dealing with issues related to delivery deadlines and quality. Even the way we make requests to our suppliers can either improve our relationship or, conversely, damage their trust, so we are always careful about our word choice and communication.

Regarding job satisfaction, I feel a great sense of accomplishment when the conditions I negotiated and agreed upon lead to tangible results for the company, such as cost reduction, stable procurement, and quality improvement.
